Holly and her husband, Philip, co-pastor the Oasis Christian Center, a growing, relevant, multi-cultural, multi-generational church located in Los Angeles. She loves spending time with her two young adult children, Jordan and Paris, and enjoys seeing them fulfilling God’s purpose for their lives.
Holly is passionate about seeing women become who God has designed them to become, and seeing every generation of woman extend a helping hand to the generation that is younger. Through the women’s ministry of Oasis, GodChicks, Holly seeks to blow the lid off the boxes that women have sometimes put themselves in and encourages women to be the amazing, world-changing champions they were made to be.
She has written several books using her humorous yet challenging style to encourage readers. Her books include: Dumb Things We Do, a “his and hers” look at overcoming relationship obstacles; God Chicks, examining with humor and honesty the many facets of being a woman of God; Daily Steps for GodChicks, a 90 day devotional which was written during her treatment of breast cancer; and WarriorChicks, which uses Holly’s own life experiences to deliver witty, yet poignant principles for facing any crisis life throws at you.
Holly has been featured on many TV shows: Fox Family’s Parenting Show, Dick Clark’s The Other Half, Berman and Berman, TBN’s Praise the Lord and JCTV, and the 700 Club. Holly speaks at churches and conferences all over the world, and loves living out the adventure God has given her.

About Pam Coghlan
“After years of enjoying the summer camp experience as a child, seminary student, and now adult minister, I know that there is something absolutely magical and exciting that happens at camp. I prayed for years for camp that would embrace the beauty of the Anglican tradition and relevance of cutting edge youth ministry. COAST Camp is the answer to those prayers. I love Ephesians 3:20: “…for God can do immeasurably more than we could hope or ask…” Come be a part of what God is doing. COAST Camp is going to be a life- changing experience for all.“
Pam Coghlan, youth minister at Christ Church Plano, loves her Lord, her family, her students, and her Deep Southern (Laurel, Mississippi) upbringing. Pam’s relationship with Jesus Christ began at a young age and she was called into Christian ministry when she was 15. She received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Sociology from Mississippi College, and a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Pam has a passion for equipping students in their daily walk with Christ. She has spent the last 16 years ministering to students and equipping leaders and parents to do the same through church ministries, retreats and camps.
2010 Holy Land Trip Forming
Posted November 23, 2009
Fr. David and Fran Roseberry are considering leading another trip to the Holy Land in November 2010, and would like to know if you are interested. The following is Fr. David’s commentary on past trips:
It is the trip of a lifetime for the many who have taken it. It deepens nearly every aspect of our humanity and of our faith. The blessings of the trip are manifold.
You draw closer to God and to the greatest story ever told. You will come to love our Lord even more. You will gain great joy in walking through the land of the Bible. Your faith will be strengthened literally, ‘beyond belief’. You will deepen your trust and confidence in the bible. You will learn first hand the sad accounts of the violence of the land from ancient times to today.
It is all right there…and it is there for us to explore together. Ask the nearly 150 people at Christ Church who have been…sometimes more than once. It will be a blessing.
This trip will be 10 days long, leaving Nov. 2, 2010. Brochures have been ordered and will be available soon so that you can view the complete itinerary, including all the major holy sites in Israel. We will have an information night in January, but meanwhile, please contact Kathy King to request a brochure and let us know of your interest. This is a preliminary contact; no commitment is necessary at this time.
