About On Point Men's Ministry
The mission of the Men’s Ministry is to encourage and disciple men to be Christ centered. Our guiding principles are:
- The Bible is our authority and guide.
- Our inspiration comes from the Holy Spirit.
- Study of the “Word” is our #1 priority.
- We will help others through service and outreach.
- Fellowship, food and fun are important to men.
- All men are invited to participate.
We offer a variety of activities such as Small Groups, Bible study classes, retreats, special events, golf outings, softball, father-child baseball game trips plus much more designed to help you grow deeper in love with Christ and one another. Volunteer leadership positions are available for those wanting to share their spiritual gifts.

Men's Weekly Golf
This year you have the option of playing two days a week. Play either or both days, enjoy the outdoor life and make new friends.

Play the world-famous “Shamble” format, weekly winners each session, season-long point race, weekly invitations sent via email, handicaps required.
*Cost includes green fee, cart and warm up range balls. A one-time
registration fee of $15 per player is required. This fee goes toward
handicapping and communication software as well as weekly and
yearly prizes.
Baseball
Join us as we “swing for the fences” on our slow pitch softball teams. We have men’s teams available on Tuesday and Friday evenings in spring, summer and fall leagues. Co-ed softball is available on Monday evenings. All skill levels are welcome to play.

Ministry Connection
Group Life
The Group Life consists of three parts. The first is Small Groups or Bible Study groups. They are a place where men gather to share their lives, join in prayer and learn how to apply the Bible to daily life. Second is Accountability Groups. They are groups of 3-4 men who gather on a regular basis to ask each other the tough questions about their life, like “are you being faithful in your marriage?” The third type is Mentor Groups. These groups consist of 2 men, one younger and one older. The more mature man is helping the younger man develop Christian life skills.
All of these groups provide an atmosphere of acceptance to those who are seeking godly Christian fellowship. They offer an opportunity for members and visitors to get to know one another in a smaller, more casual setting.
Outreach
Our purpose is to make a difference in the lives of people who are in need in our community by sharing the love of Christ in word and deeds.
Parking Lot Ministry
Our purpose is to greet the people of God with joy and love out in the parking lot. At all times we want to model Christ. We strive to communicate to members and visitors the easiest, safest and quickest way to park their cars and enter the church. Multiple volunteers are needed each Sunday to serve.
