Men
The Men’s Ministry seeks to build up men through discipleship, fellowship and networking to follow and serve Jesus Christ. As growing disciples, men have greater influence to encourage others, to set better examples, to lead their families and face daily challenges. Take a look at some of the things we offer below.
- On Point Bible Study
The On Point Bible study is a foundation of the spiritual growth of men’s ministry. This in-depth study bring the books of the Bible alive to apply its truths to our modern-day life. It also involves group discussion and fellowship. On Point is offered Tuesdays at 7 a.m. and ends promptly at 8 a.m. from September-December and February-May.The On Point teachings are mirrored Wednesday evenings at 6:45 p.m. for both men and women with childcare available.
- Summer Break Away Study
Break Away is a summer Bible study for couples. While the study does not focus on relationships or marriage, it is a time for couples to focus on the Bible together. During the teaching there are times for reflection, prayer and discussion with others. This study lasts 8 weeks beginning in June. Childcare is provided. - XP Discipleship
This intense, 8-month discipleship program focusing on the Sermon on the Mount. XP really digs into what it means to follow Jesus Christ. There is a small group component where accountability and discussion of application takes place. XP also trains men in spiritual disciplines and the use of the Book of Common Prayer. Classes begin in February and meets every Saturday morning at 7:30 a.m. - Fall Conference
Spend a relaxing weekend each fall with the guys. This is a wonderful opportunity to travel outside the metroplex, hear from a great speaker, discover God’s Word, refuel, pray for each other and make new friends. - Join a Men’s Small Group
There are a number of small groups available for men or for couples. Contact the Rev. Susan Freeman for more information.
