About Segue

Segue refers to “the act of changing smoothly from one situation to another.” It is derived from a Latin word that means “to follow.” The young adult ministry at Christ Church consists of a diverse group of people in their twenties who are seeking to follow God as they grow together and connect with one another. Wherever you are at in your own journey, you are welcome at Segue!

Sunday Morning

The Young Adult ministry of Christ Church will be hosting an Adult Bible Fellowship class this Fall. The class meets at 9:15 A.M. in Room 201 of the Adult Education building. This Fall, we will study Ecclesiastes: The World’s First Life Coach. The book of Ecclesiastes is beautifully honest and philosophical. It is also an extremely practical Old Testament book that provides wisdom for living well by touching on wide-ranging topics such as: knowledge, truth, beauty, work, worth, life, love, and God. This fall we will dig into Ecclesiastes and be nourished by this well of ancient and timeless wisdom for a life well-lived. Join us for this practical and challenging class that will help you grow in your faith and provide an opportunity to gather and have fellowship with other young adults in our church.

Family Dinner

Beginning in late September, all young adults are invited to the Adkinson home for family dinner every other Thursday night. We will eat together and then settle in to watch The Office. Don’t miss this great chance to hang out with other young adults in our church body!

Special Events

We also offer a variety of special events and retreats throughout the year designed to provide fellowship and fun, while connecting with God and others in the group.

• The Fusion Experience is a movement of 20 and 30 somethings who want to put their faith into action. We will be taking a group of folks to this event which is being held November 14 -15 here in the Dallas area. The cost is $20/person.
