Caring Ministries

Jesus said: “Take care of my sheep” (John 21:16). At Christ Church, we take our Lord’s command to heart, and strive to serve Him and His flock with excellence in various ways.

  • Lay Eucharistic Ministry
    When people are unable to come to church, a licensed Lay Eucharistic Minister will bring church to them. Whether in hospitals, nursing homes, or private homes, we bring Holy Communion to anyone who requests it.
  • Intercessory Prayer Teams
    The Liturgical Prayer Ministry offers individuals with special needs the opportunity to be prayed for during our worship services and allows those gifted in prayer to use their gift.
  • Nursing Home Ministry
    Our Nursing Home Ministry provides love and support to these special people through worship services and special events at local nursing homes.
  • Prayer Chain
    Dialing the Prayer Chain at 972-491-PRAY (7729) allows you to record a request. A Prayer Minister will listen to the message and activate the chain. All calls to the Prayer Chain are confidential. If you would like to be called back, you may indicate that and leave your name and number. The Prayer Minister will return your call as soon as possible.
