How does a believer in Jesus Christ respond when life hands them something unexpected? We at Christ Church offer our members Christian tools to help them deal effectively with the challenges of life.

  • Financial Peace University
    This six-week, life-changing course helps people learn to manage their finances by implementing Christian principles. Most of the teaching is via video by author Dave Ramsey.

  • Grief Recovery Class
    In a series of six sessions the Grief Recovery Class offers a time of learning and sharing with others in order to find God’s plan in your journey through grief. Understanding the grief process is reassuring and healing after a divorce, losing a loved one, or a job. Doing grief work allows us to put our losses in perspective and use the gifts of love that we have had to regain our balance. God has promised the return of joy into our lives when we trust Him!

  • Career Ministry
    This ministry is designed to help people in our church and in our community who are either unemployed or mis-employed. The program will be a comprehensive course that will offer spiritual and emotional support, technical skill building, and networking opportunities.

  • Precious Losses Class
    A special version of the Grief Recovery Class is offered for those struggling with infertility, miscarriage, or infant death. Participants focus on how to spiritually and emotionally recover from these very personal sorrows. This class is open to individuals or couples.

  • Widows & Widowers with Spirit
    WWWS reaches out to build friendships with other widows and widowers. The group is available to visit with new widows and widowers and offer encouragement and guidance. Serving our Lord and serving others in this way is rewarding and leads to healing and renewal. Monthly social gatherings allow time for bonding and mutual support. They include activities such as dinners out, symphonies, plays, etc.

  • DivorceCare and DivorceCare for Kids
    Separation and divorce are painful and stressful experiences. DivorceCare is a scripturally based 13-week seminar and support group to help people who are facing these challenges move toward healing and rebuilding their lives. Each session is self-contained, with a video seminar featuring top experts on divorce recovery subjects, followed by group discussion of that week’s topic and what is going on in the lives of group members.

    DivorceCare for Kids (DC4K) is a special group that provides a safe and caring place for children ages 5-12 to engage in fun-filled activities while learning about divorce and the many changes they are encountering in their lives. The weekly session topics help our children learn that God’s love strengthens them and helps them turn their sadness to hope and their anger to joy.

  • Adoption and Foster Care Group
    Connects, educates and supports pre and post adoptive and foster care families and provides opportunities for the congregation to serve children without permanent families.

  • Lost & Found Group
    This group helps women who have lost a husband to death or divorce find a deeper relationship with Christ while receiving encouragement and refreshment through christian fellowship and bible study.
