Missions

The Mission Ministry works to build up the worldwide church and to mobilize the people and resources of our local parish to respond.

This is accomplished by developing a multi-pronged strategy that will impact the world. We provide opportunities for people to experience and respond to a call for missions, integrate missions into the life of the church so people have a global perspective of the Kingdom and provide leadership to the broader church.

International Student Ministry

Christ Church has begun an International Student Ministry in connection with International Christian Fellowship at University of Texas at Dallas.

NOLA Womens Retreat

“Empowered By His Presence” was the message ten women from Christ Church (Debi Newman, Cheri Fuller, Linda McBee, Gaye Ganter, Paula Watson, Lianne Flynn, Leslie Stewart, Christina Moore, Jackie Barnett, and Pam Fernando) were sent to deliver to the Women of Church of the Annunciation in New Orleans, LA the weekend of February 8-9, 2008.

The residents of New Orleans aren’t even half way finished with all the restoration and refurbishing their city needs. People need restoration too and the women were surprised by how much they were revised and equipped to stay strong for the journey by attending the retreat.

Missionaries

In living out the Great Commission, Christ Church actively seeks and supports members who are called to long-term missions.

Mission Teams

Christ Church encourages every member to participate in our short term mission program.

Diocese of Peru

In 1995, Christ Church adopted the Diocese of Peru as our mission focus. Since that time, we been greatly blessed and seen tremendous growth in the Peruvian Anglican church.
