Diocese of Peru
Christ Church has a very special relationship with the Rt. Rev. H. William Godfrey and his wife, Judith. Bishop Godfrey was visiting Christ Church in 1997, when he was named the Bishop of Peru. At that time, Fr. David heard the Lord tell him that Christ Church was to help Bishop Godfrey with his new mission.
In 1998, Christ Church adopted the Diocese of Peru as our mission focus. Since that time, we have been greatly blessed by the friendship and love of our Peruvian brothers and sisters in Christ. We have sent many teams to Peru to help with construction projects, VBS, women’s retreats, and the orphanage. We currently have two full time missionary families in Peru. Our purpose is to help the Diocese of Peru build up the Anglican Church in their country.
You may contact the bishop at wgodfrey@amauta.rcp.net.pe.
