Missionaries

Christ Church seeks to raise up and support long term missionaries who are called by God to His Great Commission. Our goal is to encourage, equip and enable these missionaries to fulfill their role in world missions. Throughout recent years, Christ Church members have stepped out to answer God’s call around the world.

Meet Our Career Missionaries

Rachel and Allen Hill
Rachel and Allen Hill are missionaries with SAMS (South American Missionary Society) in Peru. They have two sons, James and John, and have been in Peru since 2000. Allen has launched the seminary for the Diocese of Peru, which has trained over 100 students. Rachel provides leadership training in Baptism, Confirmation and Youth Ministry. Allen is an ordained priest and Rachel is an ordained deacon. Both teach in the Saints Augustine Seminary in Lima, Peru.

Samantha & Lyxee
Samantha Green and daughter, Lyxee, are YWAM (Youth With A Mission) missionaries in Tyler, Texas. Samantha serves as a Social Services Case Manager with Father Heart Ministries, a home for unwed mothers. She shares the Father’s love with these young women as they go through a very difficult time in their lives.

Missionary Family
This Christ Church family with four children are with Campus Crusades for Christ. Their ministry is to build relationships with North African students and establish campus ministries, giving those who are “unreached” the opportunity to follow Jesus.

Fr. Ron and Vicki Robertson
Fr. Ron and Vicki Robertson are South American Missionary Society (SAMS) missionaries currently home on medical leave. Fr. Ron was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in November 2009 after a short illness and Peru.  He and Vicki have returned to their Christ Church family and are living in Denton, Texas while he receives chemotherapy.

Jessica and Yeadon Smith
Yeadon Smith serves on staff of the Gateway Mission Training Center and as the youth director and intern for St. Clement’s Church in El Paso, Texas. Jessica Smith serves as the webmaster for the training center and as the Gap Year Director for those wanting to serve in Mexico.
