Missionaries

Christ Church seeks to raise up and support long term missionaries who are called by God to His Great Commission. Our goal is to encourage, equip and enable these missionaries to fulfill their role in world missions. Throughout recent years, Christ Church members have stepped out to answer God’s call around the world.

Rachel and Allen Hill

Rachel and Allen Hill are missionaries with SAMS (South American Missionary Society) in Peru. They have two sons, James and John, and have been in Peru since 2000. Allen has launched the seminary for the Diocese of Peru, which has trained over 100 students. Rachel provides leadership training in Baptism, Confirmation and Youth Ministry. Allen is an ordained priest and Rachel is an ordained deacon. Both teach in the Saints Augustine Seminary in Lima, Peru.

Samantha Green

Samantha Green has been a missionary with Youth With a Mission (YWAM) since 1997. As a single mom, she raised her daughter, Lyxee, while she served as a missionary in Tyler, TX with Living Alternatives. Living Alternatives is a ministry of YWAM-Tyler to young unwed pregnant women. Samantha is the Graphic Designer, using her gifts and her BFA in Graphic Design, to serve Living Alternatives. She also spends time with the residents teaching and doing bible studies.

Dustin and Lyxee Frugé

Dustin and Lyxee Frugé are on staff with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) Tyler. Lyxee grew up as “missionary kid” in YWAM Tyler. Recently having been married, they are excited about joining their lives together. Currently, Lyxee is working in the YWAM pre-school and at Living Alternatives as an assistant to the director. Dustin is managing a restaurant/coffee shop located on the YWAM base called The Substation. He is also working with the missionary training schools by working with small groups and leading worship. Lyxee and Dustin both feel that God has called them into a ministry with children and youth in the areas of counseling and encouragement. They are both excited about how and when God will lead them into this ministry as they are serving Him through YWAM Tyler. 

Missionary Family

This Christ Church family with five children are with Campus Crusades for Christ. Their ministry is to build relationships with North African students and establish campus ministries, giving those who are unreached the opportunity to follow Jesus.

Kym McDaniel

Kym McDaniel is a SAMS missionary currently raising support to serve the Diocese of Peru through her work with the children of Casa Hogar Sagrada Familia and Casa Hogar San José in Arequipa where she is known and loved through her many years of short-term team experience to Arequipa. She served as a short-term SAMS Bridger in the summer of 2010 and has felt God’s leading to long term mission work there.
