The High School Group of Christ Church Plano provides the opportunity for high school students to worship together, grow in their relationship with Christ, and serve God through missions and outreach. The High School Group is a place where you can connect with your friends and make new ones. New folks are always welcome!

At SAM high school students experience engaging worship, dynamic teaching and relevant discussion with adult leaders that helps students understand and apply biblical truth to their everyday life. SAM also provides plenty of great fellowship and games to build solid relationships and create a fun environment for all students.

Wednesday nights at 8:30 p.m. in private homes

After the Middle School Youth Group meets, the High School ministry gathers in a private home for time of deeper fellowship and discussion of a current study.

Facebook Discussion

Throughout the week

Our Facebook group is a great opportunity for individuals to reflect on our current study and upon one another’s observations. Everyone is encouraged to join the group and dig into scripture with us as a community. It is also a great way to stay connected when you’re out of town.

Leader Lunches

For juniors & seniors
Thursdays at 1 p.m. at a local restaurant

Leader Lunches focus on developing student leaders in the youth ministry. A thriving youth ministry must have solid, energetic leadership from the youth themselves. In these meetings, we equip and guide our older youth so that they can step into leadership opportunities within the ministry during the school year.

Middle School Youth Group

Wednesday Nights at 6 p.m., Archgate Youth building

Currently, high school students serve on Wednesday nights by helping out with Middle School youth. This is a great opportunity for high school students to impact the lives of middle school students by serving and modeling Christ likeness for younger students. Our Teen Helpers are core part of the success of our Wednesday night program.

Service+Fun

The student also participate in once a month service+fun events. The youth work on a community project and follow up with some downtime (skating, fun at a lake, etc.)
