Renew for Our Future – Pledge Announcement

As our parish turns 25 years old this year, it is good to take stock of things and thank God for His faithfulness and His favor. Few would doubt the blessings that God has given to us as a parish family. It is a good time to think about a fresh vision for our future. Beginning in February, we’ll begin a capital campaign to Renew for Our Future. There are three things that are the essence of the Renew for Our Future campaign:
- We will redevelop and strengthen our teaching and training ministry to our children and youth.
- We will call, train and send church planters to build Anglican churches in and around the DFW metroplex and beyond.
- We will pay off our debt and “burn the mortgage” on our property.
We have a great opportunity to leverage our resources for future generations. As more information about Renew rolls out in the weeks ahead, would you please find some quiet time to pray about your role in this vision?

Tax-Free Gifts from Your IRA

Under this extension legislation, such gifts can count toward your required minimum distributions and be excluded from your gross income.
To qualify for benefits under the extension:
- You must be 70 & 1/2 or older at the time of the gift
- Transfers must go directly to the tax exempt charitable organization
- Your total IRA gift(s) cannot exceed $100,000 per year
