Affiliations
The Anglican communion comprises roughly 80 million around the globe of which we are a part. Our connection is not denoted by geographic boundaries, but through affiliation with and affinity toward other Anglican groups. These relationships provide a network of support and resources to strengthen our foundation of orthodox values.
Anglican Mission in the Americas
We are a member of the AMiA (Anglican Mission in the Americas) and receive pastoral oversight from the Rt. Rev. Emmauel Kolini, Archbishop of the Anglican Province of Rwanda.
Through our affiliation with the AMiA and Archbishop Kolini, Christ Church is a member of the worldwide 77 million member Anglican Communion.
ACNA
The ACNA movement in the US and Canada unites 700 orthodox Anglican congregations, representing roughly 100,000 people, in an organization to be recognized as a province – the Anglican term for the church’s largest regional jurisdictions – by many of the world’s Anglican leaders.
The Anglican Church in North America will hold a church-wide assembly in the summer of 2009 in Bedford, Texas, where documents will be ratified by all those who choose to be part of the Anglican Church in North America.
