People

On our campus, there are buildings to facilitate worship, studies, childcare, business affairs, etc. However people make it a church. The life of the church beats with an energetic pulse of friends, families, neighbors joining together to worship and grow in God’s Word. In day-to-day operations, we rely on a body of volunteers, clergy, lay staff and lay leaders to offer their unique skills and services each week.

Clergy

In the Anglican tradition, the priesthood is open to men and women, married or single, who have earned the Master of Divinity degree, completed a series of courses for ordinands, and gone through the discernment process. Our clergy members consist of ordained priests and deacons, each of whom serves a staff function in addition to the role as pastor to our congregation.

Staff

In addition to the hundreds of volunteers on whom we depend, Christ Church employs a paid staff of approximately 40 full-time and part-time professionals – each bringing to their job a commitment to our mission and a steadfast love of the Lord.

Vestry

The vestry is a body of lay leaders who serve to support the rector in the oversight of parish affairs and to support the mission of the church. They are elected for staggered 3-year terms by adult church members in good standing.
