Confirmation Preparation
As its name suggests, Confirmation is an opportunity for Christians to confirm the promises made at Baptism. In this two thousand year old sacramental rite individuals (age 12 and up) make a mature, public affirmation of Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, and receive strength from the Holy Spirit through prayer and the laying on of hands by a bishop.
Candidates for Confirmation and Reception are asked to complete a substantial process of instruction before receiving this sacramental rite.
