More Than a Tour
Whether you’ve been to England or are a first-time visitor, this is an opportunity to experience England differently—as a pilgrim.
Together, we will trace the story of Christianity in England from the arrival of the Gospel and the courageous missionaries of the early church to the formation of the English Church, the Reformation and the Anglican Communion we know today.
We will worship in ancient churches, walk paths traveled by generations of Christians, encounter the lives of saints and reformers, and consider how their faithfulness continues to shape us today as followers of Jesus.
Along the way, we’ll also enjoy the beauty, history and culture of England—from the mythical and modern city of Oxford to villages in the Cotswolds, to the sacred shores of Lindisfarne and the bustling streets of London.
This is not simply a journey into Anglican history. It is an invitation to see our own place within the continuing story of God’s work in the world.
Monarchs, Missionaries, Monastics & Martyrs
Throughout this pilgrimage, Bishop Paul Donison will guide us through the remarkable story of the English Church and the men and women whose faith helped shape it.
We’ll encounter missionaries who carried the Gospel into new lands; monks and saints who established communities of prayer, learning and mission; church leaders who advised kings and challenged corruption; reformers who risked and gave their lives for the truth of the Gospel; and Christians whose influence continues throughout the worldwide Church today.
Through teaching, Scripture, worship and the places themselves, history becomes more than something we study. It becomes a testimony to the faithfulness of God across generations—and an invitation to follow in the example of these who are among the “great cloud of witnesses” (Hebrews 12:1).

Meet Your Pilgrimage Leaders
The Rt. Rev. Paul Donison
Bishop Paul will serve as our teacher and spiritual guide throughout the pilgrimage, bringing his love of Scripture, history and storytelling to the places we visit. Rather than simply telling us what happened at each location, Bishop Paul will help us connect the stories of the Christians who came before us with the Gospel and our own lives as followers of Jesus today.
Bishop Paul is the Rector and Dean of Christ Church Plano. Ordained in 2004, he served in several Canadian parishes before being called to Texas in 2016 with his wife and their four daughters. In 2023 he was elected by the Gafcon Primates Council as General Secretary, and consecrated as a Bishop in Rwanda in 2024. In 2024 he was appointed as Assisting Bishop for the Great Plains Missionary District (ACNA), and in 2026 was elected as General Secretary of the Global Anglican Communion. He holds degrees in Fine Arts (University of Victoria), Theology (Regent College), and is a doctoral candidate (Trinity Anglican Seminary). Passionate about the discipline of Bible memorization, Bishop Paul loves to dramatically storytell the Scriptures when he preaches.
The Rev. Robert Kincaid
Deacon Robert will oversee the many logistical details of our journey, helping create a thoughtful, welcoming experience that allows pilgrims to be fully present. Together, Bishop Paul and Deacon Robert will lead a journey designed to be educational, spiritually enriching, joyful and filled with Christian fellowship.

Targeted Price
$5,995 per person, based on double occupancy
The tour price includes accommodations, scheduled land transportation, sightseeing and entrance fees, many meals, gratuities, baggage handling, teaching and spiritual reflection, pre-trip preparation materials and on-tour support. International airfare, travel insurance and certain personal expenses are not included. A $500 non-refundable deposit per person is required at registration.
