Small Groups

A small group is a collection of Christ Church parishioners who regularly gather to fellowship, pray for each other, and study God’s Word. Through studying, sharing, praying, and working together, small groups become the primary place where a parishioner knows and is known, loves and is loved, serves and is served.

Where large worship services provide a sense of community that is majestic, formal, and heavenly, small groups provide a sense of community that is intimate, personal, and accountable.

  • Small groups are not required to have a specific number of members, but 8-15 is ideal.
  • All small groups have a leader who helps their group members mature in their faith and foster environments where genuine friendships form.
  • A small group leader also encourages the members to support one another with prayer and pastoral care in times of need.
