A 8-week course exploring the beliefs and practices most central to our faith, Foundations equips you for a life of discipleship to Jesus. Foundations is prerequisite to Baptism, Confirmation, and Membership at Christ Church.

This 8-week class prepares students for the rite of passage of Confirmation and equips them for a life of discipleship to Jesus. Grades 8 and above will explore basic Christian doctrine and practice from an Anglican perspective.

Please register no later than Wednesday, February 4. We provide childcare for newborns through 5th grade. Parents who are members of Christ Church may drop off their children with our professional staff and enjoy an evening out. Middle and High School students are invited to join for Youth Night, a time of fun and community.
Monday, February 9 | 6:30 p.m.
Join Canon Jonathan for this monthly group, reading influential books in Christian history, then discussing the profound questions posed by the text. Participants are asked, as they are able, to read the assigned text prior to the meeting.
Friday, February 13 | 6 p.m.
Join the celebration at our Annual Missions Gala, an evening of joyful festivity in support of our mission partners at home and abroad. Evening highlights include a Mardi Gras–inspired dinner featuring Cajun favorites, live music and dancing, a silent auction (items ranging from $30 to $3,000+), and fellowship with 250 members of our Christ Church family.

Shrove Tuesday (the day before Ash Wednesday) is a time to gather, feast, and prepare our hearts for the season of Lent. We invite families of all ages to enjoy pancakes, fellowship, and a fun evening together as a parish. Connect with other families as we mark the beginning of Lent together.

Join us for Parents Circle, a Partnering with Parents ministry that connects parents to one another for community, support, prayer, and growth. Several times throughout the year we will gather for facilitated conversation on a key topic around Christian family formation.

Join the men of Christ Church for a quiet, grounding, and deeply formative weekend at Lakeview Camp and Retreat Center. This year’s retreat is built around a simple request from Scripture: “Lord, teach us to pray.” Led by Canon Jonathan Bailes and Canon John Battey, the weekend will walk through four core movements of Christian prayer—Praise, Confession, Petition, and Intercession.

Remember Your Baptism

The Rt. Rev. Paul Donison
Bishop Paul Donison invites us to consider why Jesus was baptized. In the waters of the Jordan, he declares his intention to stand fully with humanity. Though sinless, Jesus enters the water with sinners as both servant and beloved Son, cleansing the waters for our sake and revealing divine humility to the miracle no one expected. His baptism teaches us to remember our own—that we are beloved children, sent into the world to stand with others, just as Jesus did from the Jordan to the cross.
Compassion
In the Great Commission, Jesus calls his followers to make disciples of all nations. We build up the worldwide church and mobilize our people and resources to respond to immediate and long-term needs.
Families
Nursery
We welcome infants and toddlers to the care of our professionally-staffed Nursery at all weekend services.
Children
Our Sunday School connects children with professional teachers and peers as they learn and worship.
Youth
Students worship with praise songs, readings from God’s Word, a short sermon, and a time of prayer.
