Back to School Blessing
Children receive a blessing for their school year on Sunday, August 11.
A new school year begins!
Family Ministry teachers and staff will bring children of all grades to the Sanctuary where they will receive special prayer from Bishop Paul, the clergy, and church congregation.
Sunday School children who bring their backpacks will also receive a special Scripture tag to keep.
After the blessing, children who join their parents for Eucharist will stay in the Sanctuary. All other children will return to their classrooms for the remainder of Sunday School.
