Passage: Jonah 1:17-2:10

Jonah, swallowed up by a great fish, is saved, not only from drowning, but from himself. In the belly of the fish, that hellish place between life and death, there is good news as Jonah's idols are stripped away. Salvation belongs to the Lord alone, and that same Lord is not only sovereign over the monsters, but has conquered them.
